Catching Up
I have dial-up internet and it’s very slow but over the last couple of weeks it has been running extra slow most of the time – 23,000 bps! As a result of that I have been unable to get a lot of things done:
- I’m behind on my e-mail. If I haven’t e-mailed you back yet, I’m going up the list and I’ll get to you!
- I’m behind on updating links. I have a few links here on my site that need to be updated…I haven’t forgotten!
- My blogroll. I will be putting the blogroll back up, I’m trying to find a WordPress plug-in I like, one that I can put several feed widgets to my sidebars according to category. I’d also like a page of my feeds, like in Blogger’s dashboard. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know.
- Sidebars. I really like how Penny Raine has her sidebars organized in sections. I’d like to do mine that way, it’s eaier to see what the site is all about and find what you need.
- More content. I have tons of free resource links I need to add, especially old-time radio links.
- Visiting on-line friends. I’ve been catching up on that today, boy I’ve missed alot!
Just wanted to let you all know.

Pictures
Another sunny morning, but it sure is cold! It’s supposed to get colder and snowy starting tonight, so we are making today our library day…for both of them!
It wasn’t easy, but I found a couple pictures of my husband. If you want to take a look-see, they’re on my Family Album page. I’d like to set it up a little differently but it will do for now.
I can cross one thing off my list!

Agenda For The Rest Of The Week
It’s a beautiful morning here in the Pawpaw Holler, they’re hollerin’ for snow but the sun is out and the clouds are almost gone!
I’m still moving links off my old blog and trying to get back to regular posting. It has calmed down around here and we’re getting back on schedule, so maybe I can get caught up.
Some things I have planned to do this week:
Online
1. Upload a picture of my husband, Lacy (if I can find one that won’t scare everyone…he is an ol’ mountain man you know).
2. Add a calendar for Townsend TN and Great Smoky Mountains free events and activities.
3. Make a photo gallery page for our nature pictures.
4. Move more free resources links, all of the Old Hermit’s sayings and my recipes off my old blog.
5. Re-do my pages.
6. Post some free resources everyday.
I’ll have some freebies for you all later.
Blessings,Denese
