The largest denomination of United States currency ever printed is the $100,000 bill.

It takes a large Orb Weaver spider about 45 minutes to spin a web.

At almost 42 years old, Mommy (that’s me!) can still do the bear walk  -but not a head stand. (We won’t even go into cartwheels –tried that at 31 and threw my back out.)

Peppers get hotter when they’re roasted!

A fox’s bark sounds like a cross between a coyote and a wild turkey.

Chickens can lay different shaped eggs! We’ve found tiny ones the size of a pea and big ones the size of a turkey egg (that had to hurt), but this is a first:

Denese, I loved this post. I didn’t know that about the orb spider, but I definitely knew that about the chicken eggs…though I’ve never seen one shaped quite like the one pictured here. :) Our chickens have laid eggs that were HUGE (double yolkers) and eggs that were teeny tiny. http://littlehouseinthefoothills.blogspot.com/2009/07/eggs-tremes.html I’ve heard that when they lay the really tiny ones, they’re either finishing up their laying cycle or just beginning it.  Have you heard that if you’re wanting to increase your egg supply, throw a bit of red pepper in the chickens’ feed?  Not sure if it works or not, but I’ve heard that.    Anyway, thanks for a great post.  By the way, I linked to your site the other day!  I appreciate you sharing all these goodies with us!
    Have a great day!
