After breaking the umpteenth pair of bootlaces this year:
“Ain’t nothin’ made right no more. When I was growin’ up, we used groundhog hide -groundhog hide makes the best bootlaces. We’d skin ‘im out and tack the hide up on the smokehouse; when we needed some laces we’d go cut us off a strip.”
“What’d we do with the rest of the groundhog? We eat ‘im!”
