I’m still here ya’ll!
We’ve been real busy in the garden and catching up on housework, so I haven’t been online very much –and now the blackberries are getting ripe!
We’ve also had gate problems again (Lacy is ready to throw the opener in the creek!); the weld is not holding and now we’re looking for welder #4!
When I have been online, I’ve been working on the “behind the scenes” part of my site -I’m re-doing my theme structure and trying to organize it a little better for you all. 
Daphne –Thanks so much for stopping by, it’s nice to hear from a long-time Townsend visitor.
Tipper –That will tickle him (making people smile on the “innernet”), so glad you enjoy his little sayin’s. The salve that I make is a comfrey salve and I was thinking of adding violet leaves in addition to the comfrey, both are excellent for skin conditions. However, the last time I started my salve, I never got the oil base made into a salve -so we’ve been using just the oil and it seems to work even better than the salve did. I’ll try to get a post up about how to make it and what we use it for.
Amiee –Glad you enjoyed the pictures, that little snake posed for me before he slithered off!
Alexandra –You’re welcome, I’ve got another recipe for cabbage that I’ll try to post real soon.
Penny –Wow, I’ve had Internet service for 5 years and have never had that happen before now. Yes, I would like to know where you get $5 modems –I might buy a couple of them for back-ups, that’s a whole lot cheaper than what I paid! Oh well, live and learn. As for the surge protector, I couldn’t afford one of those with the phone line plug-in and I just figured I’d unplug the line during storms. Thanks so much for the info.
