We had some severe thunderstorms move through the area this morning and more are in the forecast for this afternoon through the weekend.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For East Tennessee…Southwest
Virginia And Extreme Southwest North Carolina

The creeks and streams are up and the ground is saturated, so there is the possibility of flooding and trees falling more easily.
